New Platform
After much digging and shoveling and a lot of skilled assistance from our builder Andrew Chadwick the original passenger platform has been restored at least in part to its former glory. It sits between the conservatory and the railway tunnel and next year will be accessed from the conservatory. It will be a further outside amenity area for our guests.New photos to follow. This is the first of major improvements to our facilities. Watch this space for more development news

Wildlife
One of our Carriage guests was taking his dog a walk down the old railway line to the river. Its quite overgrown with trees and well sheltered. Early morning the light is spectacular. He spotted a young stag and got to within 10 metres before it took off. Special moment.
